Our Story

Come On in & Take a Look! The world Just Got Smaller!

Lazizah Bakery is born from a background of rich mediterranean culture- a culture which produces ample, sumptuous and natural food. Our menu offers a selection of tastes from various regions along the Mediterranean.

For over 6 years we have been serving the local Norwich, Bozrah and Backus Hospital, and shoreline communities. Catch us every weekend at the Farmer’s Markets (in season).

Above All, good health, rich nutrients and natural flavors are the main ingredients throughout our kitchen.

Lazizah is a delectable treat for the body and the soul!

Due to COVID we do not currently offer indoor seating, but welcome you to take-out or enjoy our outdoor patio on the river.  Despite ours and other’s vaccinations, and for everyone’s protection, we also please ask that you still wear a mask or covering when inside.

Conveniently located near I-395 and Route 2, Yantic is a scenic little village, tucked between the river and hills at the edge of the city of Norwich, originally a whaling port, and the bucolic countryside.

Driving Directions to 125 Yantic Rd:

I-395 •take Exit 82, travel West (right if southbound) 1 mile on West Town Street, over railroad tracks, and take first right before highway overpass

Rt 2 Eastbound • left at Exit 27 stoplight onto West Town Street, immediate left under overpass

Rt 2 Westbound • left at Exit 27 onto Otrobando Rd, left at light onto West Town St, immediate right before overpass
